Autoclave
Autoclave / HTHP dyeing vessel
A closed pressurized vessel used for high-temperature, high-pressure (HTHP) package dyeing, capable of reaching temperatures up to 135°C. The autoclave enables the dyeing of synthetic yarns (polyester, nylon) that require temperatures above 100°C to make disperse dyes penetrate the fibre. The dye bath is circulated through the cones by means of pumps, with periodic reversal of the flow to ensure uniformity.
