Dye bath

Dye bath

An aqueous solution containing dyes and chemical auxiliaries (salts, levelling agents, carriers, sequestering agents, dispersants) in which the yarn is immersed for dyeing. The composition of the bath, the pH, the temperature and the liquor ratio are critical parameters that determine the uniformity and intensity of the colour. The dye bath is prepared in the laboratory with the lab dip before industrial production.
