Color fastness
Color fastness
The ability of the colour applied to the yarn to resist fading or bleeding when subjected to various external stresses: washing, rubbing, light, perspiration, sea water. Color fastness is assessed on a scale from 1 to 5 according to ISO 105 standards, where 5 indicates the highest resistance. In yarn dyeing, colour fastness is a fundamental quality parameter to guarantee the durability of the finished product.
