Hydro-extractor

A machine that removes excess water from dyed yarn by means of high-speed rotation of a perforated basket, exploiting centrifugal force. In yarn dyeing, the hydro-extractor is used after dyeing and before drying to reduce the moisture content, with specific models for cones (package hydro-extractors) or for hanks. Effective water extraction reduces the time and cost of subsequent drying.
